The Western Conference of the Association for Asian Studies (WCAAS) is pleased to announce its 50th anniversary conference, hosted by Brigham Young University-Idaho, to be held in scenic West Yellowstone Montana, October 11-13, 2012.

We are happy to inform you that WCAAS 2012 registration is currently open. Registration includes conference admittance and two meals. Cost is $60 for faculty and $40 for students. Call for Papers
Our 2012 theme is ≥50 Years of Exploring Frontiers.≤ We invite proposals for papers and panels relating to all areas of Asian Studies. For details and to submit an abstract, please visit the conference website. Proposals are due by June 30, 2012.
Other Details
The conference includes an optional guided tour through Yellowstone National Park on Saturday, October 13. The tour is approximately 8 hours and includes stops at major attractions as well as a lunch break at Old Faithful. Price for the tour is $40 and includes breakfast, Yellowstone Park entrance fee, and full day van transportation.
