Description: Building on the stunning vision of OXHIDE (voted one of the best Chinese films of the 2000s), writer-director Liu Jiayin once again casts herself and her parents in scripted versions of their life in a tiny Beijing apartment. David Bordwell calls it a” masterpiece… inventive, quietly virtuosic.” Admission is $10 for adults, $7.50 senior citizens and college students with valid ID, and $5 children ages three to eighteen. Admission is free for Museum members and children under three.

One man dances in the middle of traffic while another tries to jump from a bridge before dozens of onlookers. Pigs run wild on a highway while dignitaries swim in a polluted river. Hua Hsu of the Atlantic calls it “gripping, stirring, occasionally shocking“.
